TROPOS RECEIVES RUS CERTIFICATION FOR COMPLETE LINE OF BROADBAND MESH ROUTERS

SUNNYVALE, CA -- January 6, 2010 – Tropos Networks, the market leader in outdoor IP broadband mesh networks, today announced the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Utilities Services (RUS) has certified Tropos’ complete line of routers as meeting the “Buy American” requirement as a domestic product. RUS certification authorizes companies and rural communications providers to use funding from RUS grants and loans to purchase Tropos products.
“Many of our existing customers are positioning our solutions to the grant and loan-making authorities of the Departments of Commerce and Agriculture.
