TROPOS NETWORKS APPOINTS DIRECTOR OF WORLDWIDE CHANNEL SALES

Broadband Wireless Sales Veteran Named to New Position

SUNNYVALE, CA - April 2, 2008 -- Tropos® Networks, the market leader in wireless IP broadband mesh networks, today announced the appointment of wireless sales veteran Ben Moebes to the new position of Director of Worldwide Channel Sales. Moebes, who has been the Sales Manager for the Southeastern region for the past two and one-half years, will assume the new position immediately to help grow Tropos’ channel presence in the U.S. and international markets.

Moebes has over 15 years of data networking experience with the past 10 being exclusively in the wireless data sector. He has worked in the U.S. and Europe managing VAR channels, enterprise and carrier sales activities, and marketing activities for large, multi-national corporations and small, start-up companies.
